Alcohol & gastritis?!

Question: i had an awful bout of gastrits 2weeks ago im on pills to help my stomach (gastro-resistant 30mg) i still have pain but its getting easier. this came on because i was getting drunk 2 times a week (not bad drunk but 4-5 glasses of vodka coke each of those nights) and i have a bad diet (im alergic to wheat, dairy and gluten, that now im cutting out) my Q is how long is it before i can drnk alcohol again? not a lot maybe 2-3glasses wine in a night? dot say dont drink at all, because im not going to not drink ever again, its not bad to drink responsibly and most people do it, so please dont lecture me. i wouldnt even bother thinking about it, its just i go to spain saturday and of course im going to want to have a drink with my friends. can i drink while taking these pills. will it make my gastrits worse?

you really need to ask your pharmacy if that particular drug is safe with alcohol...some drug can be very dangerous to mix with alcohol....you may could do a search on google and get information on it....i would not risk drinking though until you find out its safe....webmd may have some info...but i am not certain...
