What liquor should I bring to the party?
The girl having the birthday likes fruity drinks and this is a small college party. However I don't like bringing the usual Hpnotiq, Henessy, Crown Royal and the like. I've been going over this in my head, the party is on the 20th. I was thinking Amarula, Sambuca, Di Saronno, or even thought about wowing them with some Absinthe. What do you guys think? Is there a liquor out there I may be overlooking? By the way, I'm not incredibly fond of schnapps or cheap flavored liqueurs.

Midori melon liquor is a good choice. It's about $35 a bottle, so it's a high-end fruity drink. She'll get the fruity cocktails she desires and you'll get to wow her with something that's a little out of the ordinary and more expensive than Triple Sec or Peach Scnapps. Mix it with country-time lemonade mix, it's great. Goldschlagger(sp?) is a fun liquor. It's cinnamon flavored and has tiny gold flecks floating in the bottle. You also might try buying a nicer bottle of vodka like Belvadere or Grey Goose that would be very versatile as it could be mixed with a number of things to make different cocktails. Bring something that people will drink and can easily be mixed with other liquors, I've been to a number of parties and nothing's worse than playing the "I have this liquour, you have that liquor, now what can we make out of the two of them" game. The game always ends one way, shots--and you just can't enjoy your liquor that way. Whatever you choose, make sure it's something other people will drink and that you bring lots of good mixers that will go with it. Have fun!

I'm suggesting these as it sounds like you'd like to bring something the party giver might like and something impressive as well. You mentioned she likes "fruity" drinks
and the first is an orange liqueur, the second, raspberry - both are a bit pricey but worth it.
Jungle juice, of course you can't buy it, but you can make it. It calls for tons of assorted fruit (which you can buy in bags, frozen) and you can use any different liquor or whiskey. Last time we made it we used fruit flavored vodka, which makes the mixture good. It's always good to use a large variety of alcohol in your mixture. We used a huge cooler to make it in, but you can improvise if you want a smaller serving.
Jagermeister makes a ton of really great shots. Most are easy and go down really well. I would be careful about 'true' Absinthe, most of the time it has to be ordered from overseas and can be expensive. Some people have bad experiences with the hallucinogenic affects. Sambuca would be pretty nice too. If you did bring Jager, make sure some people bring Cran. juice, pineapple juice, some Malibu rum, and there are a host of shots you can do with some other simple mixers. Many people are hesitant of Jager because it gets a bad rep, but really, it isn't going to knock you down like other liquors.

glass shot glasses
Beer
Kaluha
Amaretto
Bacardi 151
A lighter
Fill beverage glass 1/2 with beer
In shot glass pour amaretto, kaluha and top with 151
Light the 151 and drop the shot glass into the beer.
As soon as the flame goes out, you have to drink the whole thing. Cant stop because the layers of the drink only at the end tastes like a Dr. Pepper.
Have you ever tried Passoa? Its passion fruit and really nice. Or Malibu.
Or if you dont want something fruity how about Glayva - its a whisky liqueur and really tasty with lemonade (http://www.glayva.com/ )
Although depending on which country you are in you may not find it!
Chambord, a dark raspberry liqueur, would be a tasty and unique gift. The bottle is pretty too.
Other considerations include the following.
Midori, melon flavor and bright green. A simple Midori sour is very enjoyable.
Cointreau, orange flavor but more refreshing than Grand Marnier.
The original Archors peach schnapp is actually very tasty, make a "sex on the beach" and you'll see.
Frangelico, a hazelnut flavored rivel to amaretto.
Drambui, heather honey flavored whisky.
Last but not least, Southern Comfort, a peach flavored whisky very popular amongst the party crowd.
