Most people will say bottle. And they are right, if you drink it from the bottle or can. Canned beer is made to be enjoyed from a glass. Bottle Beer lasts on average, 90 days after fermentation. Canned beer lasts much longer. It's like a little keg that's not opened until used. And once opened, it's used all at once. Every ideal condition you can think of with a keg, is lived with a can of beer. It's 100% sealed from the outside until opened, once opened, it's all used up. Bottles are not air tight. Cans are. Kegs are air tight until tapped. After that, it is no longer air tight.
Point is, drink canned beer in a glass and you get the cleanest, freshest, most accurate to the brewers intention beer taste.

best beer comes in bottles. no contest. Only American crap macrobrews come in cans. I'd rather have a glass of water.
I think it's personal preference. Just like soda, some like canned better. I like bottle better cuz you can close it and it lasts longer. I like bottled beer better too, it tastes fresher IMO.

No doubt that beer tastes better from the bottle than the can. You can always taste the can.

Well, bottled beer definitely tastes better. Unless the twist off cap wasn't twisted on correctly. Canned beer really has a "tinny" taste. However, there is more beer in canned beer. Also, if you are at a pool party, and drop a can of beer on the deck, it won't break, and leave slivers of glass for kids to get in their feet. And, with no screwed up twist off caps, canned beer is fresh every time. I have noticed if you drink beer from a can, you do get used to the taste. Untill you have a bottle of beer, then you wonder why the heck you were drinking it from a can. Another Plus to bottled beer, is if you are bored, you can peel the label off your bottle.
I like canned beer cause the can is easier to dispose of. Also out on the patio drop a bottle glass shattered - Watch out bare feet. Cans are definitely easier & yes the beer tastes good It doesn't taste like the can to me!
If I'm drinking something cheap like Bud or Coors light, I prefer a can. It goes down faster. Pretty much everything else, a bottle. Preferably a pint glass, actually. Tap beer rules all.

Ok if you want to get wasted fast go can because its easier to shotgun and chug, however if you want to drink slowly and enjoy the taste, bottles is the way to go.
