Guiness has only 110 calories per glass. best choice for real beer.

i'd go with light, but vodka is the healthiest thing for you. or try some wine.

The best drink with less calories is vodka and tonic... if you need to buy a beer then light beer is your best choice...

I know you don't like hard liquor, but try Bacardi clear rum and diet coke, it's the best thing to drink! :) I've never heard of light beer having less alcohol, I drink light beer and it's equal to regular beer for me when it comes to potency. If you want a full flavored beer that's lighter than normal, try BudSelect. Good full taste, less calories. GOOD LUCK! :)

drink light beer less calories. and in most people the slight amount less alcohol content does not make a difference.

light

Light beer has half the calories, and half the alcohol as regular So if you are trying to get tipsy, you have to drink more.

just drink reg beer. it does have less alcohol so you would have to drink more..which totally defeats the purpose of drinking a light beer if you're going out to get "tipsy". LOL the way i use to counteract the amount of calories i would take in with my binge drinking on the weekends was by going to a dance club. I would drink a lot but dance it all off.

Lite Beer has same alcohol as regular, calories form drinks come directly from the alcohol which produce heat in your body thus causing you to burn less sugar calories.

You want to get drunk for as few calories as possible? I love this question! I'd have to go with the light beer on this one. First, I don't think it really has that much less alcohol in it. Second, I've had fewer hangovers from light beer than regular beer. I'm not sure why.

Have fun getting "tipsy"? Just make sure you don't drink and drive.

Just for comparitive purposes, most major beers that you would see at a club (Bud, Miller, Coors, etc.) have around 5% alcohol by volume. Light beers (Bud Light, Miller Light, etc.) have less calories and only around 4.3% abv.

In terms of the big beer companies, i agree with whoever said Guinness...it has less calories than most of the mass-produced beers, it has the most enjoyable taste (compared to Bud, Coors, etc.), and it's pretty widely available at bars. It has the reputation among unexperienced people of being a heavy beer because it's dark, but it's very much the opposite. Unless you have some super-high crazy tolerance, you'll still "get tipsy" drinking a 4.3% abv beer.

Have fun!

There is no reason ever to drink LIGHT beers. By regulation law, they only have to be 20% less in calories. Which means, most light beers are only 25 calories less than their premium counterparts. Light beer is also roughly 0.5-1 percent lower in alcohol content. It also tastes like water. All in all, this means you will drink more, pee more, pay more in the long run, and take longer to get tipsy. Seriously, if you're worried about calorie intake, don't go out drinking, if you want to get drunk, don't worry about calories. You'll actually end up taking in more calories drinking a light beer (and they taste like butt) than if you drink a premium beer. Guiness, while tasting better, has about as many calories as a light beer, and about the same alky content. Cost more though. Gin or Vodka tonics is probably the best route, add a slice of lime so they don't taste so bad.
