Has anyone been able to find this beer imported into the USA?!

Question: There is a Tazmanian beer called Cascade I believe it was an ale. I have been looking for it ever since I was down under over 10 years ago. Has anyone ever seen it here in the states?

All this talk of Fosters is ridiculous.
Keep in mind that Fosters, outside of Australia and Asia, is owned by SABMiller (Miller Brewing Company). In fact, the Fosters we have in the US is not even from Aus. Sure, it IS imported... from one of the Molson Breweries in Canada where Miller has it contract brewed. Of course it won't be considered contract brewing much longer, considering MolsonCoors is being purchased by SABMiller.

As far as Cascade goes, it is not available in the US.
Boag's is...

no im sorry

I managed an Old Chicago that carried over 300 beers with a rotation of 50 a month and have not heard of it. Sorry. Good luck.

go to their website. It says that the beer is only available in Tazmania. Sorry to disappoint.

I HAVE, and I LOVE IT! There is a liquor/package goods store literally on the border of North & South Carolina called 'Frugal MacDoogal' here's the address: 3630 Festival Drive Fort Mill, South Carolina, 29708

They carry the Cascade Lager and Cascade Blonde.

Hope you can find a way to score some! That stuff is GREAT!

The best way to find any non-US beverage in the US is to first track down the importer. By Constitutional law, all alcohol must go through an importer of some kind. In some cases you can visit the supplier's (brewer, vintner, distiller, etc) website and there may be a section there telling you who they export to in various countries. In other cases, as in this case, you can search for the product and "US importer" and see what comes up. I've found this information on a handy website about beer:

http://beerme.com/brewery.php?1122

That site tells me that Cascade is part of the Foster's group (Carleton & United is an arm of Foster's). Foster's is one of the largest alcoholic beverage groups in the world, controlling thousands of brands. Anyway, the next step takes us to the Foster's site.

Now that we know who's importing the beer, you only need to go into your local specialty shop where you might normally buy beer and ask them what distributing company carries the Foster's Group products in your state. Once you know that, just ask them if Cascade is carried and if you can special order it. Since Foster's Group only does business with very large distributors, there is a good chance you could have your special order within a week. Sadly, if your local Foster's distributor has chosen not to carry Cascade, then you'll either have to search for it online (and shipping alcohol into your state may or may not be legal) or go across state lines.

It is put out by foster's i havent seen it but these websites may help you in finding it

you could also go to your local liquor stores and ask or call a big store in the nearest big city and see if they have it
