College Parties?!

Question: At college parties, does everyone expect you to drink?

Answers: At college parties, does everyone expect you to drink?

No. A lot of people will ask you why you arent drinking, but I wouldnt say its part of the criteria for going to a party. If you can go and have fun withouth drinking, more power to you. Go dance and have fun with your friends.

thats what they expect, why else go there? there are people that dont drink though, just dont be pressured into it if you dont want. cuz you can get drunk and really make a fool of yourself and do things youll regret or forget, if youre not used to drinking and cant control it.

Yes, it is expected at most college parties. If you don't want to, just say that you are the designated driver or that you're stomach's acting up.

You could also try and find different groups / organizations on your campus with people who have similar interests as you. I doubt there's drinking at the religious get-togethers (if you're into that kind of thing).

sure, but you don't have to drink if you don't want to - you can still have a good time

only if your pretty..jk. really though, who cares, you'll get more respect being who you are than being who anyone wants you to be. individuality is precious.

Yes, at the last one I went to we already had 60 beers, a bottle of tequila, vodka, and a handle of rum, and then someone brought a full keg and another vodka. Mind you, there were only 20 people -- and it all got drank.

You could always not drink, but people will ask you why. If you do go and don't drink, the party might not seem too fun, as almost everyone else is drunk.

No you can do drugs there too.

No. Not all parties are like that. If you're not comfortable drinking (which is how I am the odd party) then just say you're babysitting or being a DD for your friends which is a perfectly good excuse for other people to leave you alone and not question :)

no but I remember lots of drunk people at parties
