What's a good cheap Irish beer to drink besides Guiness that is on the lighter side?!

harp lager - it's made by guiness. very nice lager. also bass, of course. murphy's is a good red ale. you might like boddingtoms which is kind of like a 'blonde' stout.

if you're in america, you have to keep in mind that they aren't going to be too cheap because they're imported.

Bass Ale is pretty cheap stuff, Try Smithwicks too but thats a little heavy like Guiness, Harp Lager works.
