Best beer?!

Question:

Best beer?

Innes & Gun (Scottish)
Tongerlo (Belgian)
Newcastle Brown Ale (English)

Answers:
Singha (Thailand)

bankses bitter

bud light nerver tasted the other kind

out of those, Newcastle but those are definitely not the best beers to choose from

Of the three you said, I'd go for Newcy Brown every time.

Anyone that says Stella Artois needs shooting. Fact.

Innes & Gun

My favourite beer is Kroenenbourg Blanc, it's got a really nice fruit taste to it. The trouble is, most pubs don't sell it, so I only really drink it when I'm at home, which is a real shame.
Out of the three you mentioned I've only tried Newcastle Brown, so it'd have to be that one.

All of those are good, but to me, there is no "best beer" because everyones taste is different. Hence, people prefer to have a beer that fits their taste buds.

Marstons Pedigree.
Green King IPA
Tomas Watkins Cwrw Hav
Adnams Broardside

Amstel

What? No German or American beers? Are you daft?

I say Leine's Honey Weiss

shepherd neame

Combine a half and half mixture of Guinness extra stout with Bass pale ale, first pour in the Guinness, then very slowly pour the Bass ale over an upside down table spoon, of which if done correctly will leave the two beers separated, thus this Irish concoction is referred to as a Black-n-Tan, my favorite:)

I haven't had the pleasure of drinking the first two, but I love a Newcastle after work. A couple of recent favorites are Spaten Optimator (German) and Arrogant Bastard (American/Californian). But I'll drink anything but Malt Liquor, and if it's not the color of piss I'll probably enjoy more than just the drunk (I'm talking to you Bud/Coors/ect.).

beers nasty, try some Bacardi its much better

Newcastle Brown Ale or Marston's Pedigree (mostly sold locally to Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire, where it's made : doesn't always travel that well, though makes it to Lichfield, just down the road and has some fantastic pubs, and famous inhabitants, including Tony Christie, who re-released 'Is This the Way to Amarillo' with Peter Kay, usually seen at 'The Queen's Head, on Sandford St - good Pedigree there).

Otherwise, visit other Belgian bars, where inevitably the staff take great pride in serving and you almost always get it served in the customised glass for it - great souvenirs. There are tons of local breweries around this country.

I'll add 'Victoria Bitter' from Australia, a bitter tasting lager, but refreshing with it. Can be found in the UK too.

Good luck! Rob

Can't beat a good badger

carona(mexican)
kingfisher(indian)

My two favorites are Bud Light or Keystone Light

Schlitz - the beer that made Milwaukee famous.

1. Stella Artois!!!

2. Jelen Pivo

3. Not so important

Gotta be old peculiar

None of the above, try anything brewed by trappist monks, but its usually 6.5% +. fraoch?or froach? it's a scottish heather ale that is very good too. yummy! oh yes i really love good beer.

Tongerlo

It just has to be Fuller's London Pride (asuming that you are talking about proper beer and not Lager).

Blue Moon! The bomb digity!

Labbatts or Corona

Hi there,

What's the best beer? Well that unfortunately is impossible to answer since it's basically personal choice/preference. I meself am a Guinness drinker here but of your three choices, I'd take Newcastle hands down. I like it's nutty flavour of it. Innes & Gun is ok but I'd take Kilkenny or even Harp (made by the Guinness family but this one happens to be a lager not a stout) instead.

Cheers.

Caffrey's (Irish Ale )

Saigon-Vietnam
Super Bock-Portugal
Coopers Sparkling Ale-Australia

Innus&Gun

Heidelberger-Germany
Hobgoblin-England
Caledonian/80-Scotland
