Wine vs Beer, less fat??!

Question:

Wine vs Beer, less fat??

Which one is less fattening??

Answers:
Wine has less sugar in.

Wine... but if i were you i would go for spirits cos they are less fattening... with a slim line tonic or diet mixer like diet coke etc!

Both have lots of calories in them, wine has the lesser amount tho!

wine!

depends how much you drink

I haven't heard anybody ever being ever referred to as having a "wine belly".

Well I've never heard of a wine belly so it must be beer that would make you gain weight if drunk to excess

wine

Hmmm. Who are fatter - the French or the Germans?
That'd be wine then!

Beer has yeast and it's like eating a loaf of bread, wine is more like eating a bunch of grapes. If you look at it like that it may help keep it in perspective. Alcohol in general dehydrates you which makes you drink more water or booze and that is where a lot of excess weight comes from.

Fat isnt the issue. Neither have any.

You need to be looking at calories and carbs.

Also consider how much you plan to drink.

4 ounces of wine has roughly 65-160 calories.
12 ounces of light beer 95-120
12 ounces of regular beer 140-200 (more for some types)
1.5 ounces of liquor 115-200 calories

A nice frozen creamy drink (think mudslide) will net you about 800 calories.

wine
