To ale or not to Ale?!
Answers: so for im thinking of a good ale to drink, perhaps a spring ale like springboard ale was nice, what eles .... what type of ale are you into i need new brands/ideas/tastes on beer drinking
OK where to start? Pale Ale's are always a safe bet... Try Stone Pale Ale or Troegs Pale Ale. If you like bitter try an IPA (India Pale Ale). Try a belgian white ale (witbier) like blue moon (if you like big companies) or preferably some microbrew belgian style ales. Sam Adams has a great White Ale and Summer Ale (Both seasonal) For an aggressive ale try Bear Republic Red Rocket Ale or Arrogant Bastard Ale (a truly kick your a** beer) For examples of things that rate really well in a given category of beer.... go to www.beeradvocate.com
I'm from VT, lot of good microbrews there. Check out Long Trail, Otter Creek, and Magic Hat. All have very good variety and very good beers. Otter Creek makes something called Wolavers which is an organic beer. Try the Wolavers IPA. Also check out Otter Creek Pale Ale in the winter and Summer Ale in the summer. Delicious!
