Everclear legal in MA?!

Question: does any one know for certain if 190 proof everclear is legal in Massachusetts? i've looked at a few local, and quite small, packys and they don't seem to cary it the 151 or the 190 proof. i'm not looking for the wikipedia link that is inconclusive on the legality for it, just looking for some one that has bought it before...or looked for it and couldn't find it.

thanks

I'm from MA (and I knew what you meant by "packy" as I'm sure most other people won't!) and I have seen it around. Personally I'm not a fan, but I do know that it is possible to get it because a former roommate used to drink it.

its made by a company called luxco. i do believe it is legal to purchase in your state. i know its illegal here in california, but legal in neighboring arizona..thats why i head out to the river for my everclear..theres a place in parker arizona that makes a drink called a "road raper" and it has it in it..along with other rum and vodka mix...go to luxco.com and find a local retailer...if you have a liquor barn or any kind of liquor warehouse in your area, you should be able to find it there or have them order it. good luck and enjoy!

DO NOT drink that sh*t. It's awful. You'll regret it.

good luck finding it...here in AZ, my friends use it in making their own kahlua...i wouldn't advise doing straight shots of it!

that brings back memories we soaked fruit in everclear and had a jungle juice party crazy day's then they sold it back in the 80's in Michigan haven't seen it since
