Do you like Richard's Wild Irish Rose, or MD 20/20?!
Answers: I used to drink that stuff all the time, especially the 20/20. Why do people hate them so much?
These are both fortified wines at about 19%, and sweet enough to mask the alcohol, so many newbie drinkers enjoy the taste and overimbibe.
Same with flavored fortified wines like Thunderbird, Night Train, Mello Days, Easy Nights and Stepping Out and all the Cisco flavors.
They all reek of a cheap buzz.
Bottom shelf liquor has this funk to it - I cannot explain it, but it's too "quick ferment" flavoured. The alcohol flavour is strong and gags me. This mixed with the fruity flavours just makes me feel sick - I'm all about the cheap alcohol, but for some odd reason I just can't stomach either the Irish Rose or the 20/20. It might be the heavy alcohol vapors.
Cheap Wines always makes me sick... my brother drink, the Wide Irish Rose, and another called Mud Slide...my mom's
doctor had her to drink 20/20 because she had low blood...
so you see all of them, has it's good and it's bad....
