I personally love Shneider Weiss. The purple label is bloody amazing. You normally can only get it in singles, but they are big bottles and they have more alcohol content than the mesley bottles of american and canadian beer.

a stein of foaming brew at the Munich beer festival tastes great .
a cold bottle drunk as the sun sets over the sea, not at all bad.
a pint of the local brew ,tasting of something akin to a dead rat ,but drunk in great company ,terrific.
i would argue ,forcibly ,that a beer is only as good as the people it is enjoyed with.

You HAVE to try Young's Double Chocolate stout. It is an English beer. Make sure you get it in a can, it is more fresh and has that ball in the bottom that simulates a draft (much like Guinness cans). Even if you don't like dark beers it is very very smooth and beautiful.

1) Blue Moon- this is belgian white beer. thrown in an orange and watch all your worries vanish. You wont be Angry after a few of these
2) Widmer Hefenwiezen- this is the greatest Hef known to mankind
3) Pyramid Hef- this si the 2nd best Hef
4) Hoegarden- Another white beer
5) Shiner Bock- awesome, awesome....awesome beer. More of Stout really
6) Longboard.... brewed here in sunny So. Cali. Awesome

Seriously, go to your local Super Market chain and stray away from the Bud Light and Coors... this is known as "white trash booze". Although this kind of booze gets you hammered just as well and is cheap to buy, it tastes like crap. Instead, look at 6 packs with aprice tag of about 6.99 to 8.99. these are usually the better beers. Start off with Blue Moon, you'll be very happy.
