Why do you drink alchohol?
Is it the taste? Or do you drink to get drunk? (I don't mean wrecked drunk)

I like the taste. I also like the way it makes me feel, you feel more mellow and its a fun social thing to do with friends.
I drink for the taste and to get drunk. I love the feeling. It is a total stress reliever, plus it helps you when you are sad. And it is damn fun to hang out with your friends and drink. It calms me down when I am upset. It is wonderful. =)

I don't drink hard liquor any more even the mixed drinks.
Just beer. some wine at dinner out.
Taste ,..only a stupid would go for a buzz.. because you go to sleep shortly after or go blackout.

I drink because alcoholic drinks enhance other experiences. A good steak is made even better when properly paired with an appropriate wine. My grandmother's homemade German-style sausage is to die for, but is made superlative with a stein of her homemade beer. And a good cigar is a good cigar, but it really comes alive with a snifter of fine cognac.
There is no point in drinking if you don't enjoy the taste of the drink. And drinking to get drunk is one of the stupidest things I can think of doing. (Anyway, my taste in alcohol tends to run on the expensive side, so I can't really afford to get drunk.)
I drink to have fun... when I'm with a group of people it's just more fun when everyone is drinking. It's always a blast if you know your limits.
I like the taste of alcohol. It lets me relax and unwind after a tough week of school. I usually drink one bottle at a time by myself. At the bar I have no more than two drafts of beer. I also remember to drink slow each time so I don't get drunk. Make mine a Sam Adams.

Both. But,there are times when I just want to enjoy the flavor of a good beer or mixed drink.
my job is stressful and i drink every day to think about fun stuff and socialize with those that do the same. i don't advise that though. please be responsible if you plan on drinking.
