white rum is a rum which is not coloured by caramel not aged and with no added spices. rum is distilled from sugarcane. best brand, most widely known is bacardi. abt 38% alco percentage.

Clear rum, usually 40 proof.

Weaker than dark rum, but it still has a kick.

white rum has less molasses in it. alcohol content is usually the same. ie,,,, 80 proof is 80 proof.
The only real difference is a lighter taste than dark rums

White rum has less mollasses as the base, however it differs from dark rum mainly in the fact that it is not aged or coloured in any way.

Like all spirits it can very in strength but is usually the exact same as dark rum (40% or 80 proof). Being a light spirit is has more subtle flavours than a dark spirit such as dark rum, and is less likely to give you a hangover the next day.

By far the most common version is Bacardi.

Captain Morgain, Bacardi, and can drink these straight over ice. Pineapple, Strawberry, Citrus.

It is Bacardi, about medium in alcohol and OK to the taste.
