If i drink alot of water and keep myself hydrated today can i avoid gettin drunk 2night ?!

Question: No, the water will just help your hangover in the morning. Most of the hangover is caused from dehydration, so the water will definetly help with that.

I've never actually been successful alternating drinks with water, but I will try tomorrow. Hey, it's spring break, why not get drunk Sunday night?

Alternate your drinks with a glass of water between rounds. That should help and will also help prevent a hangover.

In addition to alternating alcohol with water, try to nibble on food throughout the night. Foods with protein and fats are the best. Also, before you sleep be sure to drink a full glass of water, 2 advil, and a multivitamin or Vitamin B12.

No, water won't affect how drunk you get. However having food on your stomach will. Eat a full meal right before you start drinking.

Also, eating something a little fatty will help you not get sick. I used to have burger and fries before drinking and I swear I never got sick when I did that.

not really, it'll pass through your body quickly. but drink water in between drinks tonight - that'll mean you won't drink too much out of habit too.

another thing you can do to stop you from getting too drunk is to eat something before you go, and drink milk to line your stomach!

have an awesome night!

Keeping hydrated THROUGHOUT the night will help you to not be soo drunk but unfortunatly the only thing you can do to not get so drunk is .... dont drink so much. Try having the cocktail of your choice then before having a second drink, wait an hour. Try to "milk" your drink... take a long time to drink it. Eat something before you drink and eat something lite when you start to feel too drunk. Drink lots of WATER while you're out. Drink a glass of water for every cocktail you have.

Water and alcohol have nothing to do with each other. You can be as hydrated as you like, but it wont keep you from getting drunk. Alcohol does dehydrate you, but alcohol takes a long amount of time to get processed by your liver, and on the way it also damages it a little, depending how much alcohol you use and the amount of time you drink it. The water in your system will not push the alcohol away faster, or slower. What this all means is that you can be a well hydrated drunk, but still a drunk none the less.
This goes along with people thinking exercise will get them sober sooner. Or taking a shower. Or drinking coffee...so on and so forth. It will only make you a tired drunk, or wet drunk, or a very alert drunk...so on and so froth.
Taking head-ache medicines such as Tylanol and others, along with alcohol. Have been medically proven to damage your liver at great amounts. Over time doing this practice, it will end up killing you. The liver is a miraculous thing. No matter what a beating you give it, it will heal and regain size again. But there comes a time when it wont be able to keep up.
Food or anything of in the last advices on this list of answers, will not alter the alcohol in your body. The only thing that process alcohol is your liver. And it takes a liver about an hour an a half to process one can of beer.
Your weight has another factor of how drunk you get. The smaller you are the less alcohol you need to get drunk.

Well, usually (and I mean I am not an expert on this) in order not to get drunk, don't drink too much. Well, unless you have some serious drinking problem, it shouldn't be too hard I mean, Self-Control is a practice that is being forgotten in todays world.

it sounds like you want
to be a drunkie-
without actually gettting
drunk
its

Yes, also make sure you drink a glass of water between drinks. Make sure you have a tummy full of food too!

not really.
try to eat food before you go out tonight.
crackers and pretzels are best because they'll absorb the alcohol, and other liquids. so you'll drink and it'll take longer to get drunk.
