Any cigar smokers out there?!

Question:

Any cigar smokers out there?

Can anyone tell me what goes well with a cigar, when it comes to alcohol, wine, etc....

Answers:
Well if you want to be aristocratic about it you would have to match your brand of cigar with a different brand of cognac. Just like mixing your wine with fish or steak. But I have always been a firm believer in the fact that if you are enjoying yourself it cant be wrong. I smoke Arturo Fuentes Hemingway Classics's and Ive drank anything from Yuengling to 150 year old Grandmeirnie(sp). Just enjoy yourself and nothing else will matter.

I smoke with my Italian step father sometimes and we usually pour a little rum or brandy in a glass and just sip and puff slowly. Works for me , good luck.

If you have got a White Owl, some Haze works well with a forty of Colt 45. If you have a Vanilla Dutch, skunk is perfect. Follow that with some Hennessey. If You are really adventurous a fattie in a Phillie is really good with some Alize on ice.

Port-style wine and a cigar! Every once in a while...

Maduro wrapped cigars go well with full bodied beers, but a drink and a cigar in any combination is a good start. Depending on your tastes, whiskey, cognac, good rum or tequila go nicely with most cigars. I would avoid drinking anything too sweet or fruity with a cigar as it will mask some of the subtler flavors. Some people dip the end of their cigar in brandy or cognac while smoking, but I have found that it quickly leads to a mushy cigar that loses bits of tobacco in your mouth.
