It depends a bit on what your guests like to drink.
Girls will want wine of some kind usually.

This is a good basic mix:

2 cases mixed beer

Booze:
1 liter bottle each of Vodka & Gin

Punch:
32 oz OJ from concentrate
32oz Bottle of Cranberry juice
Small can Grape juice for color
2 liter 7-up or Ginger Ale
5 pounds ice

About a gallon of mixer plus ice.

Extra frozen OJ on hand if the punch runs out.

Plus:
one more case of beer if the other stuff runs out.

Two cases of beer is four beers apiece to start off so there is PLENTY of booze.

Lots and lots!!

y alchohal at parties anyway? i mean common it's not necessary but 70 probably should do it if you're not going to all drink alot. I guess like some parties can have it but still how are they going to get home?

70 bucks can get you a keg....that should be plenty. And you tell your friends to bring anything else that they prefer.

None. Drinking really bites. Please, I don't care how old your are, alchohol kills brain cells and, well, sucks. For your own health, none.

$70 worth... Seriously though, just get some hard stuff, and that should be plenty of money. Or you could have everyone pitch in $5 and then you would have like $140 to spend...Then you could really get some good partying going on.

Buy whatever you want for yourself with the $70, and tell your guests to bring whatever they prefer to drink for themselves. Believe me, $70 does not go very far when it comes to alcohol.

OK you have to get the heaviest drinks at the liquor store. Tell them you are having a family reunion and you brother in-law is gonna be there and you hate him. Then say show me the heaviest drink you got here.
