What is beer made of?!

Question:

What is beer made of?

Answers:
The basic ingredients of beer are water; a fermentable starch source, such as malted barley; and yeast. It is common for a flavoring to be added, the most popular being hops. A mixture of starch sources may be used, with the secondary starch source, such as maize, rice and sugar, often being termed an adjunct, especially when used as a lower cost substitute for malted barley.

thnx for the 2 points

fermented yeast barley and hops and water

hops and barley

gypsy tears, bald eagle feathers, panda extract, koala meat, folic acid.

actually it depends. most have hops and barley malt, but there are some outliers. I've had beer made from sorghum and rice (it's gluten free).

hops,barley, yeast and water

doesn't sound like ingredients found in food though:)

water, sugar, malt extract, brewers yeasts the sugar turns into alcohol with time about a week.

Ideally beer is made of barley malt, hops and water. Sugar can be added for higher alcohol. There are also beers made with wheat as an ingredient ( Weissbier or Witbeer) and those are usally good. I try to avoid beers that have corn in them. Most American beers and all Mexican beers have corn and often rice as an ingredient. Avoid those at all costs. If you can't drink a quality, German,Belgian, Czech, or Irish brew...drink water.
