Okay, I've had enough now. How do I sober up quicker?!


Question: I had a rubbish night on the town last night, and have woken up, still under the influence. I just wanna be sober. Any ideas on how to sober up quicker? I feel like an alien at the present moment.

when you get your hangover--drink alot of gatorade you'll shape up faster...if you're still drunk go back to sleep or try

Drink LOTS AND LOTS OF WATERRR

Also try and eat something.....toast.

drink some good fluids and go back to sleep for a few hours.

You can't, but you can drink lots of water and sleep it off.

A nurse explained to me that a hangover is really just a lack of sugar in the body.

Eat a Mars bar and get on with it. :P

You can't sober up any quicker than your body allows. If you want to feel better then drink plenty of water, take a couple of paracetamol and go for a walk.

About the only thing you can do is eat, but that really only helps if you eat before drinking(since the food in your stomach absorbs the alcohol before it can enter your bloodstream)

Caffeine, like some coffee, may make you feel better, but don't ever let someone tell you he can get you sober faster unless he then explains how he'll fundamentally change your body's metabolic rates

Cup of tea, some bacon, then fresh air and some water

use the old good method .... get a hot coffe and drink it... there is also a type of pills that helps you get rid of it... ask a specialist and they'll tell you

Straight up it doesn't matter what you do now the alcohol will still impact your system until it's all excreted, but here's a list of things to do to make it a bit more bearable

A Hot shower (or bath if you don't want to risk standing lol) - The heat will sweat out the toxins that are causing all the problems. You'll feel a bit woozy at first but go with it and you'll feel better afterwards.

Ginseng - It's been noted that since caffeine is a diuretic like alcohol, it can actually make the dehydration worse, so try this instead..

Bananas - Sugar in the form of fructose, and potassium, which is one of the things you lose lots of when you drink. Bananas are also a natural antacid to help with the nausea, and are high in magnesium which can help relax those pounding blood vessels causing that hangover headache.

Sprite or Fanta - Fizz for the nausea, liquid for the dehydration and sugar hit to make you feel a bit more lively.

A super greasy feed - pizza, KFC, meat pies etc. they all do the bizo lol

Just get some fresh air in there. Then drink a lot of water it will make you feel drunker a first but you will come out of it much faster

Just be patient, Take a couple of Ibuprofen, Eat some breakfast, And it will be over with before you know it, Time is the only way....
