Does alcohol bring out the truth in you?!

Question: Depends on who your are, for me it makes it easier for me to say things I need to. Like if im afraid to say something if I drink I can say it with ease, not feeling embarrassed or what ever. It all really depends on what kind of person you are, sometimes you could be truthful and sometimes lie.

Most of the times.

Doesn't actually bring out the truth, but it can amplify your true personality.

yeh i normally end up telling someone stuff i shouldn't. :)

i think yes when drunk u become miserable so it will come out for sure.

Well theres not a truth serum in it. However it does tend to make us tell the truth a little more. Alcohol is also know as liquid courage because you usually will approach some one in a way you never would. I know that if I like a guy a few drinks will help me tell them. I dont recommend it though.

it certainly does,,,,,, if you blab too much, boast too much, etc then you have had too much,

yeh, makes you tell the truth in a weirdly odd manner, then everybody disregards it becuase you were 'drunk'
lol

nah, just the fool

In there somewhere lies the truth.

well.... that's not always true; because most of the time it brings up the devil in you and not the truth.

If that was truth and for the most part it usually is, I guess I have been speaking the truth for the past 25 plus years....

The Romans had an expression for it, "In vino veritas." In wine, truth. What alcohol does is relax the inhibitions so that you may say things that you regret when you sober up (if you remember them).

No, i dont need alcohol to express myself. i can do that all by myself!. most people will really only express themselves fully when they are drunk because they are to selfcousious or insecure to do it without drinking.
