people are more likely to fall over when drunk and also being drunk gives you the confidence to do things you wouldn't normally do, such as diving into water or trying to swim a lake.
the number of new pubs being opened near water is also increasing, lots of marina's and qauside areas are increasing peoples exposure to water areas when drunk.

Does your brain touch your spinal cord?

They only fall in the water if there is water to fall into. Otherwise they just fall on the ground.

Could have something to do with the weather.

Its a world wide prob not just the uk.

They are yobs and binge drinking is part of uk life

if there's no water about then they don't they will just fall of the floor

Their motor skills are unable to compensate for the added resistance of the water they are breakdancing in.

Water???? What water???? Are they drinking water????? Who's the drunk one here?

You need some deserts in the UK. Then you could have drunks who are dry.

I'm not sure about what your asking....

no idea why, a friend woke up in a river once. it happens for a lot of reasons..... not just because theyre drunk.

If your that drunk, you fall where you fall, water or not. Yo! or ouch!

If one is tipsy, one will fall on whatever is in one's path.

they loose there balance and its funny

why not

Because at the time it makes perfect sense, much like kissing ugly members of the opposite sex or dancing even though you obviously can't.

Hmmm..........Maybe cause they're drunk?!!!!!
