Storing Port Wine?!

Question:

Storing Port Wine?

I am keeping some bottles of good Port and Madeira wine as well as Brandy in a darkened room in Madrid. In summertime the temperature rises to as high as 30 degrees.
How long will the wine and brandy retain their quality under these conditions?

Answers:
The biggest contributor to BAD wine is temperature especially drastic changes. Wine should be kept at 58-63F. When wine temperatures fluctuate the wine begins to degrade. So...

Put your wine in a place with a constant temperature of less that 65F but more than 55F.

You should try to store them in as cool of a temperature as possible. They won't last the summer at 30 degrees. Ideally, you would keep them in a basement or root cellar (10-15 degrees C)
