What drinks do you recommend at restaurants?!

Question: i'm new to ordering drinks in public --- i need recommendations because i'm clueless! i typically like drinks that aren't really strong; only a tad bit of an alcohol taste but enough to know it's there. i really like frozen drinks (margaritas, etc) & not all places have blenders, but i'm embarrassed to always have to ask. i like cosmos & fruity things. i'm not a fan of beer. i did have redbull/vodka for the first time a few nights ago and liked that alot.

can anyone help me out with some drinks that i should try when i go out to eat; things like most places will have? i always get margaritas and would like to branch out a little bit.

just a few observations...
1- A true margarita does not require a blender, on the rocks is fine and even preferred amongst traditionalists who like the simple taste of tequila, lime and triple sec. What usually pops out of a blender is more of a sugary gimmick version made with cheap tequila and pre-made mix with added sugars (not to say they taste bad, they dont). Anyway... you can get a margarita at any bar and a good bar will make it fresh, so try a true one sometime.
2- "well drinks" are not simple drinks, they are made with bottom (well) shelf liquor and are thereby priced cheaper and why they're on "special". In general, at a bar, this means if you order, say, a "vodka cran" without specifying the vodka you want, you'll be getting the well version or cheapest they have and depending on the bar and bar tender perhaps paying as much as you would should you have asked for kettle one or absolute or any other "top shelf" brand. You'd order the top-shelf version by asking for a kettle one and cran or an absolute and cran or a goose and cran etc etc.
3- my personal tastes are likely the opposite of yours but if you liked redbull and vodka I can guarantee you'd like a simple vodka and cranberry juice combo (a vodka cran). Immensely popular and available, literally everywhere. You can try the different "flavored vodkas" (offered by stoli and smirnoff) and pair those to different fruit juices you like, again very common. I'd also wager that things like smirnoff ice and mike's hard lemonade would be up your alley. If you like pepsi or coca cola then I'd say try a "Captain and Coke" which is just captain morgans rum mixed with coke, captain is a very sweet spiced rum.
4- don't be afraid to tell the bar tender what you like and ask them to recommend something else, they're likely to get it right (provided the bar tender is not some putz at a dive).

malibu madras (coconut rum, oj and cranberry juice)
chocolate martini
apple martini

madras, seabreeze, cosmopolitan, greyhound, screw driver,
BUT please be ware, that alcohol can become a problem. Please drink in moderation and NEVER drink and drive.

Coolers are good if you don't like beer.

most of the time, when you go out to happy hour or something, the specials are on "well drinks".

well drinks are simple drinks. some favorites of mine are vodka & cranberry juice (vodka & cran for short) with a lime twist, and recently i've been into whiskey sours. it's whiskey mixed with "sour mix"-which tastes kind of tart and sweet, like a sour patch kid...they put a red cherry in the bottom of the drink.

tasty and inexpensive! plus, every bartender knows how to make those drinks, so you're not like, shouting at them in a loud bar, telling them what's in the wierd drink you're requesting.

i will recommend u red wine in Italian restaurant.
