Alcohol gas/heatburn?!
Answers: recently i have had constant heartburn but it since has died down. last weekend i had a white russian (kahlua/milk and vodka) and every sip i pretty much took from it i felt gassy like from heartburn. the drink was mostly made with vodka and a splash of kahlua. will i always be like this with alchol? what can i do so i can drink tonite? if i just have kahlua (milky drink) with milk will it be ok?
You could try taking a Pepcid AC type pill prior to eating and or drinking things that give you heartburn. Also, if you have not taken a Pepcid type pill or don't have any...you can mix a tsp of baking soda in a small glass of water. It neutralized the acid in your tummy. And, yes alcohol can and will cause heartburn. The gas is probably from the milk in the White Russian.

I get heartburn a lot from all the beer I drink so i know how u feel!!! I usually take Alka Seltzer and it does the trick 4 me. Pepcid and Pepto never seemed to help at all but then again, everyone's different
Put a lot of cream in there.
I eat mashed potatoes before I drink.
