Are Hops used for anything other than beer?!

Question: And, are they used only for flavor or do they serve another purpose for being in beer? I don't drink so I don't know.

They are added to beer primarily as a preservative. Depending on the beer style, they may be used for aroma or flavor. Hops are also used to stuff pillows. They are supposed to give you a restful night's sleep. Sounds noisy to me, though.
