thats what i do right now, and yes the money is good if you are at a high volume bar.
you really do have to put up with alot of cr*p though, so i hope you are a patient person.
First of all. That is such a stupid job, because you are being a slut the whole time at your job. So go to college and be a doctor, photographer, physician.

wow! you don't want to live long, do you? that is most dangerous place in america to tend bar or be cocktail waitress! the crime rate! and rape rates are high! is it worth the 200 dollars a night in tips, to get raped? and killed? and have body dumped alonside a road?? my advive? please work in restaurant and you will live longer!!
YOu make pretty good money if you are good at it and friendly. It has to be at a mainstream club, but you might have to put up with alot of crap... I hope you have other aspirations though! I know we all need to do something to make ends meet, but that is quick cash if you need it! Goodluck!
It depends on a lot of factors;
how hot you are
how friendly you are
how much skin you show
how much you get paid an hour without tips
how you flirt with the costumers
I used to work at a bar as a shot girl and waitress, sometimes I would get $100 in tips, sometimes $20, it all depends.
i used to bounce at a club. and the girls did ok. it does not last keep in mind. if you make it last or turn it into a carrier then you have problems.
some clubs make you buy the shots and then charge more to take them off the tray you have. other clubs keep a tally on you as far as what or how many tray you have taken out. But you have to follow the crowd meaning a clubs life is only 5 years max. then somone else opened up a new club and you have to go there for the big crowed to make the good money. but you will get sick of it by the age 25 so that is why I say it does not last.
