Neighbor owns liquor store in Brooklyn, NY

some of them do! But I guess the key word is LIQUOR store! They make more money off liquor than they do beer.

It depends on where you live. Some liquor stores Do sell beer. Where I live, the liquor stores don't sell beer because there's too much competition from the beer stores.

They don't? Or do you live in a state that forbids this?

CHEAPER COMPETITION FROM GROCERY STORES I'D GUESS

where do you live?

They did where I lived in Texas. They sold beer on one side of the store and liquor on the other, and pulled a gate down at 9 so they could stop selling liquor but keep the beer side open until 12. Then I moved to Virginia, and I was shocked to see beer sold in the grocery stores! It all comes down to archaic liquor laws that haven't been cleaned up and standardized.

All - and I mean ALL liquor stores sell beer

They do in Canada!!!
