Do bars/clubs clean their shot glasses from customer to customer?!

Question: If so, do you know the method in which they do it??...Like does a person take a shot and then their shot glass is taken and tossed into a tray filled with warm water or somethin :S....or is it just dished out to the next customer???

wow a lot of smart a**es in here today- of course they wash them customer to customer its required by health code the required system from the health dept is a 3 bin sink 1st sink is hot soapy water 2nd sink is hot clean water and 3rd sink is hot water that has sanitizer in it. Normally you have a kinda brush the has a suction cup on the bottom of it and its in the soapy sink hard to explain but it has couple of different heads one to get inside each kinda different glasses shot, high ball, martini ect. When a shot is served the glass goes into a bus bin and taken to the sinks the glass is taken out of the bin shoved on the brush up and down a few times the submerged in the clean water and then in the sanitizer water and then places on a drying rack till someone puts it back on the bar with other clean glasses

Of course they clean them. Unless of course, they want the health department to shut them down. They are washed, thoroughly, and sanitized.

nah they just dip it in the spill tray for a couple of seconds then pour the next one! I wouldnt worry alcohol kills most germs lol

Yes they do. But CCTV in the toilet would be a good idea as if would show if bar staff washed their hands after using it - a large proportion of glasses have been found with S.HIT on them.
