Hangover cures that actually work?!

Question:

Hangover cures that actually work?

Answers:
My ritual is burnt toast, a multi-vitamin and lots of water before bed.

Here's why:

- The carbon from the burnt outside acts as a filter to help sweep away toxins. (They use the same idea for victims of alcohol poisoning in the emergency room, except those people get a much more potent carbon mixture pumped into their stomachs.) The also bread helps absorb some of the alcohol.

- The multi-vitamin helps replenish vitamins A, B6, C, potassium, and others which are lost during alcohol metabolism.

- The large quantity of water, necessary to down the vitamin and get the burnt taste out of your mouth anyway, helps with the dehydration.

You actually fight the three major causes of a hangover with this: acetaldehyde (the toxic by-product of alcohol metabolism), dehydration and nutrient depletion.

Cheers!

start drinking again or eat bananas

sleep it off

fizzy drinks really do the trick

a baked (or microwaved) potato works for me first thing in the morning.

Potatoes (french fries, baked, or scalloped) to help absorb the liquor out of your system. Also you can eat yogurt that has those good cultures in them to help coat your stomach.

Sleep, water, sometimes a beer, mostly, time.

a vitamin b12 suppliment, 2 advil, and lots of water!

drink lots of cordial usually being hungover is a cause of dehydration by drinking cordial it replaces your lost sugars and the water will hydrate you & a couple of Nurofen does the trick.

Gatorade and white toast with honey works for me

Tomato juice - everytime. Has all the vitamins your body is craving.

Drink some Mountain Dew, than lay down and have a fan blowing on your face. It's worked for every hangover i've ever had.
