I don't think so. I think that the majority of people who do drink drink for the purpose to get a little buzz. If your drinking everyday or if you're drinking is causing problems with loved ones then you may want to consider stopping.

An alcoholic needs alcohol to function, their body has become dependent on it. If you wake up in the morning and you need a drink in order to start your day, then you are an alcoholic. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

I don't think your an alcoholic, I believe that is when either you cannot control it or just don't want to, When you feel the NEED to drink and not just a want, when it effects your everyday life such as a job or relationship, According to the dictionary, an alcoholic is someone whom is addicted to it, do you feel you are addicted?

Not unless you would rather be drunk than do something you love or be with people you love. As long as you don't make it a top priority in your life I think you're fine. Ask your close friends too, they're a good source of feedback on your behavior, especially if they're around when you're partying.
