Does anyone really think that whiskey tastes good?!
Answers: I dont see how anyone could say it tastes good but some of my friends claim that they like it. is it somthing people crave like ice cream or do they drink it to look tough?
no its horrible. i was watching a movie where in every scene someone would be drinking neat whiskey so i thought i would go out and buy a bottle of the good stuff to see what its really like. i bought Johnny Walker gold lable and couldnt drink the stuff, it was revolting
whiskey does taste good. If you dont like it that means your a sissy! I would put whiskey on my cereal if i could afford it! Crown royal is the best, along with Jack and Pendelton!
I enjoy it! My poision of choice is usually Canadian Club and water in a short glass. I like certain ones on the rocks. You mak a point though, some do drink it just to look "tough". I would recommend though that if you don't like it, don't worry there are plenty of other choices out there. Let them drink what they want and you enjoy what you like.
You have to know what kind of whiskey you are talking about. There is Bourbon, Scotch, Irish, Canadian, Moonshine and probably some others also. I like Bourbon best of all. That is made in southern USA (ie, Kentucky, Alabama and Arkansas)
i think that everyone has their own tastes. i love the taste of whiskey. and i love the taste beer. or i did before i was pregnant at least. but many people i know can't stand the taste.
The third drink of ANYTHING alcoholic is good. I think it's like beer, you just get used to the taste after awhile.
Whiskey is just a general nomenclature, there are so many different types of drinks that fall under that title. Can't stand Jamison's, but a good single malt scotch is the drink of the gods. Not a big Bourbon drinker, but Makers Mark, made i the south is a sure treat.
Everyone has their own tastes for liquor or for food. Nobody should judge anyone and nobody should force drinks on someone. Don't know how old you are, but will say that whiskeys are an aquired taste, seem to grow into them as you get older
definitely, there are some fine ones that i would never mix, or even add ice to, and sip them very slow relishing every drop

Whisky is great. You have to learn to appreciate the way its distill and try to taste the characteristic of it. It has a great aroma, very sweet. What I don't understand, is how people like gin.
I started drinking irish whiskey mixed with baileys. It was great training wheels. Now I drink it neat.
I don't think all whiskey tastes good. I do love Jack though.
