I have 50 bucks to spend on alcohol at Green's, what should I get?

Buy a bottle of Myers Dark Rum. Perfect for Rum & Tonics (my favorite mixed drink), and solid for rum/cokes.
Buy a decent Malbec. Malbec is a red wine that is popular right now for it's earthiness, but below $10, it is swill.
For something interesting, get some aquavit. Throw it in the freezer and serve it straight in the smalles glass you can find.
Aquavit is aromatic, smooth, but not really sweet. If you want something sweet, grab some limoncello. Served cold, it tastes like a boozy Lemonhead candy.
That should cover your 50 bucks.
It depends on what you like, something basic like vodka/rum/tequila/whiskey is great because you can mix it a ton of different ways.
Figure out what kind of drinks you like. Tequila shots are fun and make margaritas. Rum is great with coke, tropical drinks like pina coladas or mai tais. Vodka is probablly the most versitile, add it to anything and you got a drink. And whisky, my favorite is awesome straight with coke or with sour mix. Or get em all and you can make longisland ice teas.
