What is potatoe vodka & where do yu get it?!

Question: Potato vodka uses potatoes as it's main ingredient as opposed to corn, milo or sorhgum (which are cheap forms of starch). Most potato vodkas will be better quality than vodkas distilled from cheaper ingredients.

Luksusowa, Chopin & Blue Ice all make potato vodkas that you should be able to find at most liquor stores.

Most Vodkas are made with potatoes, so your bottle stores will have a range probably.

Most vodka is made from grain these days, because it is cheaper than potatoes. The way vodka is distilled, you can't really tell what it's made from.

If you look on the label it will tell you what the vodka was made from. Some imported brands are still made from potatoes, not just from Russia. But they might not be easy to find.

most vodka has potatoes and u can probably get it at any liqur store

yep most vodkas are made from potato

Potatoes are steeped to remove the starches then boiled to turn the starches to sugars. That boiled mixture is then fermented for roughly two weeks and then distilled and purified.

EDIT -
Sorry forgot the second half of your question

It is pretty common at most liquor stores... just need to read labels. Chopin is a relatively common brand and not expensive.

look for Blue Ice vodka. you can get it at any BevMo store and online!

Most V now days is made from grain because it is cheaper, more readily available and the distillation process is quicker.
There are some vodkas still made from potatoes. I saw two diff. brands at my local liquor store. It will tell you right on the bottle. Ask your liquor store.
