Well? I mean ppl say drink them .... do they actually help? and how?

they dont make you stronger. But they are an excellent source of raw protein which your body needs to make muscle. But you have to be carefull because some eggs may contain salmanella.

I don't think so, but you might get diarrhea.

The only way they will help is by provinding you with nutrients present in the eggs. And if you drink them raw, in my opinion they will increase your chance of getting salmonella.... so I don't ever drink raw eggs... (yuck) but I do like them boiled and fried and scrambled..... :)

Well....Eggs contain protein,protein is good for muscle development, as long as your really moving those muscles the protein in the eggs will help.

Try an a egg white omelete, this is what body builders like to eat because the white of the egg is high in protein where as the yolk is high in fat.

No. They are just a good source of protien. Anyhealth food store or GNC can supply you with a protien supplement that isn't quite as disgusting. Raw eggs taste like snot. Not that I've been eating snot lately.

Drinking eggs doesn't make you stronger, but it does help if you couple it with muscle building exercises. The reason for this is that the egg white is full of protein. It is better to drink the egg raw (if you can stomach the taste) as when the egg is cooked it denatures the protein, hence why it turns white, making it harder for protease to "break down" the proteins in to amino acids. Drinking the eggs raw stops the protein from being denatured by cooking, so more protein is "broken down" in to amino acids which are then rearranged into a different type of protein depending on what it is needed for. In your case it will be needed to build muscle tissue. So the more protein the more tissue is created.

So that is how drinking raw eggs helps build muscles, but remember that eggs may contain salmonella enteritis (which ironically can cause muscle weakness) so take care if you plan on drinking raw eggs.
