Can someone help me pick out the right wine for a dinner party I am having?!

Question: I am serving grilled cheese and tomato soup. Thanks!

I'd go with Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio. The 2006 isn't bad, but I'd go with the 2005 if you can find it. I'm not a fan of red wines, and it's quite a delicious white and under $20 a bottle.

If that's a little too high priced for you, I'd just go with mad dog 20/20 or Cisco.

I would choose Pinot Noir. It's a fairly light red wine, and most people like it.

night train or mad dog

Personally I would have 2 wies on hand for your guests.
To pair with the grilled cheese you can go with something lighter. Preferrably a Viogner or a reisling. It will pair well with the cheese and the acidity of the soup.
For a red a Pinot Noir would be best. It is ight and has a tendency to be more fruity. This will work well with the grilled cheese.

just serve your finest pussie juice...best wine around!

I suggest useing a wine chooser like this one

Chianti wine from Italy.

Anyways get any French or Italian wine. They always taste good and people are ignorant and whatever Italian or french wine there is they will be impressed.

Albarino is a good wine to drink when having soup as well as the Cotes du Rhone.
