That guy who doesn't get the concept of plasma donation is a moron. It's bad because of the dehydration.
Pure and simple.
A simple response is, the tendency of the alcohol to slow the clotting process in the damage caused to your blood vessels and skin from the needle. Also, intoxication is your level of blood alcohol content (BAC). You may be used to drinking certain levels of alcohol, but after donating plasma, your content levels rise at increased rates as well. Blood is extracted to derive the plasma err go, your blood density levels are down, but this is a secondary reason. The primary is the slowed repair by your body to the extraction area. Dehydration is a major concern as well.
Plasma collection DOES return the blood to your system.
But the blood is much thinner, therefore there is less substance in your circulatory system after the process and does not hold nearly the absorption rate as regular blood. Therefore the aforementioned results are the same.
Nothing. that's your reward. You sold blood for beer money.
It's not necessarily "bad" to drink after donating plasma, but you will get intoxicated more quickly because you'll have a lower body mass than usual. There is less fluid in your body to dilute the alcohol so you'll feel effects more quickly.
Its bad because beer dehydrates you. After giving plasma you need to be hydrated so your body can replenish the amount of plasma that you gave. Also, drinking after will get you very intoxicated due to the fact that there is less plasma in your body. The toxicity level will increase alot faster per drink then usual.
How do you think they get the plasma????!!!! Do you think they magically extract it from you??? The Draw BLOOD from you and that's it. Then later they extract the plasma from the blood at another time.
Above answer is right
So you undergo a mini transfusion??? Quite the experience...
Nice infection risk there.
Whatever Sterling
You sound like ur full of yourself!!!! do know that!
it doesnt seem to bother the homeless skid row bums who do it.
