Fun new drink?
I'm sick of my long islands lately. What's a fun new drink that the bartender will know? I like sweet or sour drinks.
Answers:
Amaretto Sours have both the sweet and the sour.
Captain Morgan and Sprite... it has the kick from the rum, but the Sprite mellows it out. It actually tastes just like a cream soda that A&W or those other companies make.
Of course, if you want to stick with the punch that your Strong Island Ice Teas have... I recommend a slight variation of what you are already doing.
Substitute melon liqueur for the gin, use cranberry as the bartender would normally use the sweet and sour, and top it off with a splash of sweet and sour instead of the coke.

NOBLE SKY
1 1/2 oz Casa Noble Crystal
1/2 oz Blue Curacao
1 oz Malibu Rum
Pour ingredients into iced mixing glass, Shake and strain into cocktail glass, chilled.

1 oz Orange Juice
Grenadine
Pour ingredients except grenadine into iced mixing glass, Shake and strain into cocktail glass, chilled. Pour grenadine slowly to make a layer.

if you like sweet, try blueberry Stoli mixed w/Sprite. tasty. kinda like cotton candy.
