Are Shiraz Cabernets usually sweet or do they have a shaper taste?!

Question: Shiraz and Cabernet are different varieties of wine, neither of which would be likely to be descried as sweet. Shiraz is usually a pretty ballsy wine with a little bit of spice Cabernet's are usually okay and have a bit of a leather quality.

Edit-Yes that would be a blend, and should be far from sweet, if it is sweet there is something wrong with it.

shiraz is a drier wine

I don't know. I can't drink because of medical conditions, but my brother in law is a real picky wine drinker. I bought him some Shiraz for a family get together and he said it was nice and dry, maybe did say had a bite. I'll have to ask him.

Darn these medications!

The Shiraz/Syrah is one grape and the Cabernet is another grape, so the Shiraz Cabernet would be a blend. And this is going to be a big red, the opposite of sweet. Cabernet is the Granddaddy of grapes and Shiraz is a big red with spice. Pick a good one and you have a perfect wine for steaks off the grill.
