Can anyone recommend a good Spanish red wine?!

Question: I was at the Columbia last night and I'm in LOVE with their sangria. The recipe says they use a Spanish red wine, but WHICH one? Can anyone recommend a good one for sangria?

Marqués de Caceres, 85% tempranillo is an excellent Spanish Wine. But this wine is too good to mix with a sangria.
In your case, for a Sangria, I would suggest Torrès Coronas, Very good wine, reasonnably priced.

casa don juan

Look for a young, inexpensive one.

Not just "crianza". That would indicate at least two years ageing.

The words "Sin crianza" on a label indicate that the wine did not receive minimum aging and was bottled young.

Manyanna Tempranillo...Good fruit forward spanish wine & its rather inexpensive
