How bad is it to drink a beer that is 25 years old?
I found a six pack of bud in the trunk of a 1975 lincoln mark IV and it had been there since 1982. recently a highly intoxicated friend of my drank two of them, now a few days later he isnt feeling well. Could this be serious.
Answers:
Really not a good idea.. Beer expires, which is why it was hard to come by in the old west. I'm not sure what exactly the effect is, but a visit to the doctor is highly recommended.
And once he's better, a smack upside the head for being stupid is recommended too.
yes beer does expire.. so maybe he should consult a Dr..
NOT GOOD DON'T DRINK A BEER THAT IS THAT OLD TELL YOUR FRIEND TO GO TO THE DOCTOR BECAUSE YOUR FRIEND COULD BE POISON
I lived in Alaska and seldom saw a can of beer that was not expired on date to use by.
I would say your friend drank too much booze prior to the beers--it he keeps up with the urps get him to an emergency room.
The beer was probably flat as a door nail from being frozen and thawed over the years but if the cans were sealed I can't see what would get him. Just a thought from common sense.
it depends on the style of beer. Some beers like Russian Imperial Stouts or Barley wines are meant to be aged, and i have heard of them being aged that long and becoming better while in the bottle. If its a lager style (yes bud is a lager style beer), generally lager yeast goes bad. No this is not serious, may feel a little sick for a day or two, but nothing serious
I own beers that are older than that. I think my oldest is 55 years old.
Your friend probably got sick because he drank a very foul tasting beer. He's not going to die.
it is very bad
