One swallow of Pinesol won't have any long-term effects. I've seen a person drink a whole bottle and he only ended up with a stomach ache for several hours.
Yeah, have him drink more, because you have to be an f'ing moron to mistake pinesol for tea. They don't look, smell, or taste alike. So your question is full of crap, or your friend is really really really stupid. You're not too bright either, because instead of asking on Y!ansers, you should be taking your friend to a doctor. The time you wasted to get online and ask Y! questions, and then wait for answers, is too long and probably killed your friend.

Contact your local Poison Control Center immediately. Also your friend could not have identified the smell? Pinesol does smell very stronger than regular tea. This is messed up!
I don't know how old you two are but call poison control.
