I have recently become interested in wine. How do I decide what flavor or brand to buy?!

Question: I would like to be able to go buy a few bottles of wine without buying some that taste like crap. Any help with brands, flavors, or types would be great.

Wow! Welcome the world of wine, sweetie.

Your best bet, in all honesty, is to either visit a wine shop that allows you to sample the wines, or to visit a winery. Either way, you will have the chance to ask questions about the wines (even if you feel the question is a stupid one, ask any way), and will have a chance to taste them.

Once you find a wine you like, you're all set. Keep an open mind to blended wines. Sometimes a varietal wine is blended with another grape or with another fruit. Both blends will lend a different flavor to the wine. As to whether or not that difference is good, lies entirely in your own taste buds.

What ever wine(s) you find you like, enjoy them. Wine is meant to be enjoyed, and shared with family and friends.

blackstone is good ,a cali wine. red cabernet is great. black opal australia wine is great as well as cheap .also organic wine is great vinico

Do you like dry wine or sweet wine? White wine or red? If you like dry white: pinot grigio (ask the store clerk to recommend a good brand depending on how much you want to spend) or chardonnay. these are just a couple of examples. If you like dry red wine then try a merlot. If you like sweet...try white zinfandel. Just to touch on this a bit. Hope this helps. You can get decent wine for a decent price. There are just sooooooo many varieties and brands out there. I mentioned a few of the most popular types. Good luck and happy sipping! Happy Easter too!!!!!!

I tend to try the lesser known winery varieties.
They are also a bit cheaper too!

My opinion for u is plz get away from that thing,it will kill u,indirectly u r doing suicide.

Don't listen to shab. The German whites are very nice, also the Hungarians. For red, Italy and france are excellent. You will just have to try a different one each time until you find one you love. I am a big fan of Black Tower because I like a sweeter white wine. It's all a matter of taste.

Sample wine when you get the opportunity. Then you will get a taste for wines you like. New Zealand brands that are usually good include Hunters, St Clair, Villa Maria, and Montana.
