Will the ingredients of absinthe show as an illegal substance in a urinalysis?!

Question:

Will the ingredients of absinthe show as an illegal substance in a urinalysis?

Answers:
The ingredient of concern is "thujone" and real absinthe contains small amounts of this. However, this isn't an illegal substance...it actually exists naturally in a lot of herbs (cooking sage, for example) and is everywhere. Drug tests don't test for it.

Absinthe is illegal in the US because of a lot of bureaucracy and lots of political lobbying in the early 1900's. There is no component in it that is illegal or harmful...this is why it's becoming legalized in European countries more and more lately.

no there is no drugs besides alcohol in absinthe. it is made out of Anise and wormwood

no alcohol is the main ingredient in absinthe. the worm wood, which is the acting hallucinogen, is dissolved in the alcohol but will not show up in a piss test. Besides very few test actually search for the chemicals that are contained in worm wood. so go ahead and enjoy, just be care full what you do after you intake to much and start seeing things.

Only if alcohol is counted as illegal in your organisation.

Workwood will not be found in any absinthe you buy in the shops any more.
