Question:

How long does it take for wine to go bad once its opened?

i have it corked and in the fridge. how long will it last?

Answers:
How much is left in the bottle? And is the cork clean?

If it is nearly full, three days. If about half you may get away with two, but more than likely it will be better consumed the day/evening after opening. Any less and you may find it has oxidized by morning.
May I also add some people like oxidized wines, or they cant tell the difference.

Next time you open a bottle of wine and you know you will only consume half of it. Pour half into a glass soft drink bottle and cap tightly. It will last some time that way as it not exposed to the air.

The wine should last a long time assuming that you didnt drink directly from the bottle. If you did, it'll last 2 weeks tops. The bacteria from your mouth will grow inside the bottle of wine which ruins it.

Otherwise, it may taste better, cause after all you are aging it a little more.

It *should* keep indefinitely if you keep the bottle on it's side. As long as the cork doesn't dry out, it should be fine.

clean bottle, clean cork, that stays wet, should keep it fine, except...
once the wine has been opened and allowed to "breathe" the taste will begin to deteriorate. I would expect you have less than a day, as your wine will begin to oxidize.
that being said, it will not be "bad" however it will not be as good as it was.

It depends on the wine. If it's 15% or more, it doesn't even need refrigeration. Below that, it will keep in the refrigerator for way longer than you'll be able to leave it alone.

i think it will last 1 month at least. Maybe longer ......

it will last for 3 days

Once the bottle has been opened and allowed to breath the wine will start to go...even if you put the cork back in...I always suggest to drink it all..or if you want..cook with the rest at a later date!
