Why Does My Hookah Burn My Throat?
I made a homemade Hookah!! Its awesome but it still needs a little work. It still burns your throat for some reason. But the water bubbles meaning the smoke is going through the water first and the smoke fills up in the vase. yet it still burns like a mother. I didnt burn coals, i just burnt a piece of paper on top of a broken open cigarette. maybe thats why? i dont know. its pretty much air tight though, so im happy with that. I'm thinking its the paper cuz the taste im getting is just burnt-ness. the water is room temperature. Im using generic plastic straws for all hoses. a metal pipe for a stem.

you are an idiot, why the **** would you put paper in a hookah? paper is WOOD, wood smoke ******* BURNS, think of bonfires. nobody likes that smoke...

I have found that warm water seems to sooth the throat better than cold!
apart for the paper business, [any charcoal would do really]...u should try it with vodka instead of water... :-P
