Best way to get the stain out is to pour white wine over the stain and blot with kitchen towel. You do the same for red wine stains. Once you have lifted the juice stain out , with cold water and a sponge wash the carpet.

Since the spill is new and still wet use some oxyclean. I spilled red wine on our beige carpet and totally removed it by mixing the powdered oxyclean with a small amount of water to make a paste. Of course first blot all the moisture you can. I buy Sun Oxygen Powder at walmart for a very reasonable price.

dilute with club soda (soda water i think?)
then sprinkle lots of salt on it
then you should just be able to vacuum or brush it off
