Get at me.

That's nothing. There's no alcohol withdrawl.

You only get withdrawl when you've managed to drink so much alcohol on a consistent basis that theres no more GABA carriers. Alcohol can mimick this molecule, so you need to drink more alcohol to keep the brain "normal."

It takes a disturbing amount of alcohol to shutdown the GABA production. It can be fixed, though, with a medical detox.

Your friend, though, has drank next to nothing. In order to have withdrawl, we're talking about a 750mL of vodka everyday for several weeks at a minimum. Course it varies person to person. If you want to see a true alcohol addict, check out A&E's Intervention episode that was on last week, "Lawrence." He drank 1L of vodka everyday for 8 years. Yes, it killed him, but took 8 years. And often, more than 1L a day. Straight Skyy vodka from a 32 oz mug all day, couple mugs worth. It got so bad there were bruises all over his abdomen from liver failure. I think that just goes to show how much alcohol it actually takes to kill someone. So you can see a case of beer is basically like not drinking..

She'll probably feel lousy, but it's nothing serious. Four days isn't going to result in serious withdrawal at all.

Man I do that all the time...she'll be fine. 8 beers a day is nothing!

She will have a hangover but that's about it. I would advise her to stop drinking so much before it leads to a serious problem. 4 days turns into a week, a week turns into a month.. Eventually your friend will be an alcoholic.

no it takes a ong time of daily drinking to get that stage, and once you reach the withdrawls can kill if not properly supervised

She might feel a little irratable and you should advise her that she is still young and she should know how hereditary alchoholism is. If you care about her, tell her to chill and catch up only on the weekends if it means so much to her to drink.

she might have a hang over but i doubt it if she didnt have one yesterday. 6-8 beers in a day isnt enough to cause too much of a problem. oh yeah, she shouldnt drink, too young

Nah, she'll be fine! Maybe feel alittle hungover, irritated, lousy and or unhappy. She should really steer clear from 8 beers a day...it starts like that THEN its weeks and months..and you know the result! Take her to do something fun with her spare time. The mall, shopping....ANYTHING fun!

No Drugs lol

4 days is not enough to cause withdrawl, but she has a bigger problem than that

she'll be fine, she just might fell kinda ...not lazy but "mellow"

=]

8 beers a day isnt bad
