First Time Ever Who Discovered Alcohol?!

Question: Who Specifically And How

Answers: Who Specifically And How

I believe it was the ancient Egyptians and it was beer that they discovered, because they realized the liquids could become "infected" with yeast, allowing it to ferment.

This was around 4000 bc. I think

ps. Keep in mind their beer was much different than the traditional beer today. I doubt they added both the barley and hops :-)

Im not sure but if you figure it out thank them for me

too far back in history - yeast causes sugar to naturally ferment into alcohol. So it was probably some caveman.

I would say it was animals that first discovered 'alchohol'.
They would eat fruit off the ground and get drunk so they finally figured that they can knock fruit off trees, let the juice ferment, eat the fruit and get drunk.. isn't it hilarious...

It was probably early man when he found eating certain fallen fruits which gave them a buzz.

Whenever man first realized they could drink things other than water. Which means probably around the time we were killing mammoths and stuff.

Some stone age or bronze age person. The first time fruit was stored in a relitivly waterproof container and fermented.

It was first discovered by leaving bread out in the rain by accident and the starch and sugars being eaten by wild yeast in the air...they eventually began experimenting with things like honey and other sugars....Mead being the oldest fermented drink in the world...I believe this was all in ancient Egypt but not sure....
