Guys... Present help?????!


Question: Hey guys, my anniversary is coming up and needless to say, I am having a tough time deciding what to get for the man. Just to give you a general idea, he is really into beer!! He love microbrews (stone is his favorite) I was thinking about getting him a nice home microbrew kit?? I am looking to spend around $100. I was also thinking, but I couldnt find, he has a few beers he has been saving and trying to age, I know for wine there is a humidifier for aging, is there one for beer???? Anyway, please help me! I want to get him something hes really going to like!! There really aren't limitation as to the type of present. We could go somewhere (brewery, bar ect) I could get him a gift (microbrew kit, beer ager) I don know... I need help!!!! Thanks

Yes, homebrew kit. I have had lots of fun with mine. Get him a good how-to book also. If he has the time and $ he will enjoy it greatly. I found that it's easier to just get beer from the store, but it's not as good, and even a crappy beer can taste good with the satisfaction of making it yourself, guys like to do that stuff.

Don't forget that he'll need empty bottles or a keg to put it in.

Check around. Once I needed to purchase a present for my uncle and he also really enjoys beer. I got him a gift certificate to go to a local micro brewery and actually brew six cases of one of their micro brews. He asked me to go with him and it was a lot of fun. We went through the whole process and picked up the beer a couple of weeks later. The cost was about $100 or less. Also, if you look online you might find a beer of the month program. That's the gift that keeps on giving!
